Geneva to Avoriaz airport transfers
Avoriaz is the highest resort in the Portes du Soleil at 1800 metres, perched directly above Morzine and famous for its snow-sure conditions and car-free village. Because it sits at the top of the domain the drive from Geneva is a little longer than to Morzine — around an hour and forty minutes — but a private transfer takes you right to the resort entrance, where you leave the vehicle behind and continue on foot, skis or horse-drawn sleigh. No rental car, no parking, no dragging bags through the snow.
As a locally based, family-run transfer company we have been driving the Geneva to Avoriaz route since 2006. The final climb from Morzine up to Avoriaz is a steep mountain road that we know in every condition, and because we live in the Alps we are on hand 24/7 if your flight changes. How far is Avoriaz from Geneva Airport?
Avoriaz is approximately 85 km from Geneva Airport by road. The transfer follows the A40 motorway east from Geneva, then the mountain road up to the resort — a straightforward, scenic drive.
How long does a transfer from Geneva to Avoriaz take?
Under normal traffic conditions the journey takes around 1h 40m. During Saturday peak transfer times in the ski season it can take up to 2h 30m, so we always build in extra time for your flight.
Do you offer shared transfers to Avoriaz?
Yes. As well as private door-to-door transfers, we run a premium shared transfer service on the Geneva–Avoriaz route. Shared transfers are a lower-cost option that may make a small number of stops for other passengers heading to the same area.
Where will my driver meet me at Geneva Airport?
Your driver meets you inside the Geneva Airport Arrivals Hall, in front of the Brezelkonig café (turn left after baggage reclaim and walk about 30 metres, staying inside the hall), holding a name board with your party name. We monitor live flight arrivals, so there is no need to call ahead if your flight is delayed or early.
