About Les Carroz

Les Carroz d'Atraches is a sunny south-facing village resort at 1200 m, the closest Grand Massif resort to Geneva and one of the easiest of the Grand Massif bases to reach. It has grown from a small farming hamlet into a friendly, family-oriented resort without losing its village feel, with a real centre of small shops, cafés and restaurants. The lift-gondola from the village goes straight up to the Plateau d'Assy where you connect onto the rest of the Grand Massif, with runs for all abilities including the gentle blues back to the village. Its south-facing temperament makes the village bright and warm, plus a little spring snow and afternoon sun. Les Carroz is excellent value and a great choice for first-time Grand Massif visitors.

Les Carroz has a local area of about 19 lifts including the village gondola and the high Kedeus four-seater, with a good range of green, blue and red runs back into the village. The same lift pass opens the wider Grand Massif: 5 linked resorts, 70 lifts and 265 km of pistes. From the link point at the Plateau d'Assy you can ski across to Flaine, Samoëns, Morillon and Sixt, including the long Cascades piste.

Your driver will meet you at Geneva Airport's Arrivals Hall, in front of the Brezelkonig Café (after exiting baggage reclaim, turn left and walk 30m staying INSIDE the arrivals hall), holding a name board showing your party name.
