About Les Gets
Les Gets is a relaxed, family-focused resort at 1170 m, perched above Morzine on the western edge of the Portes du Soleil. It blends the charm of a genuine French village with lift links straight into the world's largest linked ski area. The daytime skiing is hard to beat for mixed-ability families — Mont Chéry has tree-lined runs and quiet slopes, while the Chavannes sector connects seamlessly to Morzine and on into the rest of the Portes du Soleil. In summer Les Gets becomes a world-class mountain-bike destination with the only permanent World Cup downhill track in France, and there are plenty of summer walking trails and lake-side activities for non-bikers. The village itself has a busy weekly market, a mechanical music museum and a wide choice of family restaurants, making it one of the most welcoming bases in the Northern French Alps.
