About Morillon

Morillon is a small, family-friendly village at 1100 m in the Giffre valley, sitting between Samoëns and Les Carroz in the Grand Massif. The village centre has a genuine French alpine feel, while a couple of minutes up the road the Morillon gondola launches you into the wider Grand Massif domain. Morillon is one of the few Grand Massif resorts specifically built with families in mind — the 1100 area has a beginners' garden, easy blue runs, sledging and a snowpark — and there is a real village to return to at the end of the day. Non-skiers can walk, snow-shoe or simply relax, with cafés and a small museum nearby. Excellent value accommodation and an easy drive from Geneva make Morillon a genuinely popular choice for family ski holidays.

Morillon • Grand Massif

Morillon village is at 1100 m, connected to the Grand Massif by the Morillon gondola which runs up to Morillon 1100 and 1700. The local runs are family-friendly with nursery slopes and a snow garden at 1100, but the same pass opens the full Grand Massif: 5 linked resorts, 70 lifts and 265 km of pistes. From the top of Morillon it is possible to ski across to Flaine, Samoëns and Sixt in a day.

Your driver will meet you at Geneva Airport's Arrivals Hall, in front of the Brezelkonig Café (after exiting baggage reclaim, turn left and walk 30m staying INSIDE the arrivals hall), holding a name board showing your party name. We monitor live flight arrivals for any delays or early landings, so there is no need to call ahead.
